Standard I/Os and high precision measuring technology

in the entire process chain for water and waste water treatment. The Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminal system makes high precision measuring technology possible
via fast EtherCAT communication: from the digital multimeter to the power measurement or condition monitoring terminal, e.g. for monitoring the pump station.

Modular Embedded PCs
With the CX series of Embedded PCs for central and local control tasks, Beckhoff
has combined PC technology and modular I/O level to form a DIN rail unit in the control cabinet. New to the range are the compact CX5000 with Intel® Atom™ CPU and the basic CX CX8000 with ARM9 CPU and integrated fieldbus interface.

PC-based Control
With Industrial PCs Beckhoff offers a scalable hardware platform, from the server in the control room to the external station at the storm water basin. TwinCAT automation software controls the overall treatment plant and local stations. Industrial PCs

Wireless data exchange
In addition to all common bus systems and I/O signals, the Beckhoff Bus Terminal system also supports data transmission via radio. The KM6551 wireless terminal enables various types of transmission, based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard.

Robust Control Panels
The Beckhoff Control Panel series serve in the control room or in the external stations as operating and display elements. The panels are available as displays or as complete Panel PCs in different sizes and variants.
